From the seashore to the forest, the Island Restaurant Collective brings together independent restaurants connected by creativity, community, and a love of place.

Each member is unique, but all share a commitment to thoughtful cooking, genuine hospitality, and celebrating the ingredients and people of Vancouver Island.

On the furthest West Coast of Vancouver Island, Pluvio offers an intimate tasting-menu-only dining experience and a boutique hotel. Warren and Lily focus on seasonal, ingredient-driven cuisine that celebrates the bounty of Vancouver Island, creating a fully immersive coastal escape.

In a converted fisherman's hut overlooking the ocean, Wild Mountain offers a seasonal changing menu inspired by their relationships to their farmers. Small bites, shared plates, and food cooked in the wood fired oven, all served in the warm and cozy cottage, or out on the patio in the sunshine.

Tracie Zahavich and Ross Bowles

Hidden in Canoe Cove Marina, Fox & Monocle Cafe is a bakery by day and restaurant by night. Tracie and Ross focus on approachable, refined dishes in a welcoming atmosphere, combing classical European techniques with the best Vancouver Island produce.

One of Victoria's most well hidden gems, Uchida Eatery showcases traditional Japanese cuisine, prepared with care using Island ingredints. Offering a small, simple, lunch only menu, Yasu prepares everything himself, often after visiting the farms to collect fresh produce.

Ugly Duckling, Victoria

Located in Victoria’s historic Chinatown, Ugly Duckling offers a tasting-menu experience blending local Pacific Northwest ingredients with Asian influences. Each seasonal menu Corbin creates showcases foraged ingredients, whole-animal cookery, and inventive techniques.
